John Duston established The Guardian CPA in beautiful and sunny Santa Barbara, CA. He wanted to provide accounting services that focused on Quality over Quantity.
John is an expert in various aspects of accounting, financing, and investing. He specializes in tax preparation, financial modeling, and financial planning for businesses and investors. 
After graduating from UC Santa Barbara with a degree in economics & accounting, John focused on advising and filing taxes for small businesses and real estate investors. 
Since getting his CPA license, John has worked with clients in all avenues of life. He finds that by dedicating more time and energy on each tax return, rather than copy and pasting similar returns in bulk, he can avoid mistakes and ensure that each client gets exactly what they want.

In his free time, John loves to go on outdoor adventures with his wife. He likes to sail, camp, hike, ski, and bike. He enjoys the fact that Santa Barbara has tons of opportunities for him to do all the things he loves.
